Our educators thoughts on the Puzzles range

We look for image clarity and distinct cut patterns. A good puzzle should have pieces that only fit where they are supposed to, reducing frustration and supporting self-correction. If a piece can be forced into the wrong spot, it confuses the child's understanding of spatial relationships.

Material quality is non-negotiable here. We check that the image layer does not peel away from the base after a few uses, as tactile exploration is part of the process. We also look for varying complexity—from simple peg puzzles that teach grip to complex jigsaws that demand sustained attention.

Puzzles are excellent for building stamina. We select puzzles that offer a manageable challenge, allowing children to experience the 'struggle and success' cycle that builds resilience and persistence.
