Built for the adventurous 4-year-old Explorer who is ready to scoot out the front door with a scooter and a helmet already sorted.

🛴 Ready-to-ride set — a three-wheel scooter and a helmet arrive together, so there is nothing else to track down before the first ride.
⚖️ Stable three-wheel base — the wider footprint steadies those first pushes, so a four-year-old can step on and roll off straight away.
🧍 Lean-to-steer movement — children turn by shifting their body weight, which builds balance and body awareness in a way that feels natural.
⛑️ Helmet included from day one — wearing a helmet becomes part of getting ready to ride, which builds independence and a safe-riding habit early.
🌳 Made for paths and parks — suits the driveway, the footpath and the park, with a simple routine for every ride: helmet on, step up, go.

The Educator's Note

The Glider Nua's three-wheel base and lean-to-steer mechanism give four-year-olds a stable way to learn balance, building gross motor control without the frustration of a wobbly start.
Pairing the scooter with a helmet makes safe riding part of the routine from the very first outing, so wearing one becomes an everyday habit rather than something added later.
Getting themselves ready, with helmet on and scooter in hand, gives a four-year-old a real task to own, which builds independence alongside the balance and body control that scooting demands.

🏃 Gross Motor

A four-year-old can step onto the Glider Nua, lean into a turn and roll off down the path with a helmet already on. The stable three-wheel base keeps those first minutes steady, so the adventure starts straight away. Together, the set suits the four-year-old stage of building balance and whole-body coordination, where steering by weight shift gives both plenty to practise. Having their own helmet from the start also builds independence in getting ready to ride.

Also available in a great value bundle

This bundle suits families who want a scooter and helmet chosen together, ready for a child who is keen to get moving outdoors.

The 4-year-old Explorer who is always first out the door and wants to travel under their own steam
A child who is new to scooters and would benefit from a stable three-wheel design while they find their balance
A birthday gift that covers both the ride and the helmet, so everything needed is in the one parcel
The child who likes to do things independently and is ready to take charge of getting themselves ready to ride

This bundle gives your child a complete first scooting experience: the scooter to ride and the helmet to wear while they do it. The set covers the whole routine, from getting ready at the front door to rolling down the path.

The Glider Nua 3-wheel Scooter in green is the hero of the set. Its three-wheel base keeps the ride steadier than a two-wheeler, so children can step on and move off quickly. The lean-to-steer mechanism asks them to turn by shifting their body weight, which gives their balance and coordination plenty to work on with every loop of the driveway.

The Small Grey Helmet turns "let's go scooting" into a short, repeatable routine: helmet on, step up, off you go. Children at this age love doing things themselves, and putting on their own helmet gives them a real job in getting ready, which builds independence and confidence before they start moving.

The two work as one set. The scooter builds balance and leg-and-core control through steering and pushing, while the helmet makes safe riding part of the habit from the first ride. For an Explorer who wants to get outside and go, it covers what they need to start.

Why gift givers choose this

Everything needed to start riding — the scooter and helmet come together, so there is no separate sourcing before the first outing.
Built around a stable first scooter — the three-wheel base and lean-to-steer movement suit children who are still building balance.
Builds a useful range of skills — balance, leg and core control, and independence all get practice in a single activity.
Components that belong together — the helmet turns scooting into a complete routine, so safe riding habits form from the very first ride.
Gift-ready as a set — a scooter and helmet in one bundle makes a complete, thoughtful present for a four-year-old.
