Problem Solving & Logic
The tension builds as you line up your shot, press down on the springboard, and send a woolly friend soaring toward the hook-and-loop paddock. It takes just the right amount of pressure to stick the landing rather than overshooting onto the floor. You'll hear plenty of giggles as sheep pile up, block opponents, or hang precariously off the edge. Beyond the fun, this game is a brilliant way to develop motor planning and force regulation. Kids learn to adjust their physical effort based on visual feedback—calculating the distance and refining their touch with every launch. It turns a rowdy competition into a stealthy lesson in physics and fine motor control.

Heap of Sheep
This is ideal for families who want a game that relies on skill rather than luck.
  • School-aged kids (6-10 years) who enjoy active challenges and friendly competition.
  • Children who struggle with fine motor control and need a fun way to practice grading their force.
  • Families looking for a quick, 15-minute game that gets everyone off screens and laughing together.

The Paddock is Open

Set the fuzzy green paddock in the centre of the table and grab your launcher. The goal sounds simple: get your sheep to stick to the field. But once the first sheep goes flying, you realise there's a real art to it. Pressing the springboard too hard sends your sheep into the kitchen; too soft, and it barely clears the launcher. It's a physical puzzle that requires focus, steady hands, and a bit of trial and error.

Strategy Meets Silliness

As the paddock fills up, the game changes. You might need to land your sheep on top of an opponent's to claim a spot, or aim for a tiny patch of green hook-and-loop fabric still visible on the side. The sheep have hook-and-loop fabric on their bellies, meaning they can stick to the paddock or to each other, creating precarious towers of wool. It's fast-paced and encourages players to think about trajectory and angles without it feeling like a geometry lesson.

Compact and Engaging

The game sets up in seconds—no board to unfold or batteries to hunt for. The paddock and sheep are self-contained, making it an easy choice for a quick round before dinner or a travel game for holiday rentals. Measuring approximately 17cm wide, the paddock fits easily on small coffee tables, yet offers enough surface area for four players to battle it out.
