Shapes you can hold, turn and test
A triangle on a worksheet is one thing. A triangle you can pick up, turn and fit into a model is something else entirely. This pack puts 26 geometric pieces in a child's hands, and the learning happens through building.
Each piece joins the rest of a Mobilo build, so shapes become part of a model that bends, turns and rolls. Children test which shapes sit flush, which leave gaps and which make a model sturdier, and they find the answers by trying.
Where the skills show up
Pressing pieces together takes steady pressure from the thumb and first two fingers. It builds the fine motor strength behind a comfortable pencil grip in prep, and the click gives clear feedback when a piece is seated properly.
Around 3 to 4 years, expect sorting by colour and naming shapes. By 5 years, many children are building symmetrical patterns and planning ahead. At 6, the same pieces become bridges, vehicles and enclosures with a purpose.
An add-on that earns its place
Children often outgrow the shape variety in a Mobilo Basic Set once they start building with intent. Instead of buying another full building set, this pack adds the shapes that make bigger designs possible. It's fully compatible with all Mobilo construction sets, so it slots into the collection you already have.
Pieces are made from non-toxic, washable plastic. Play is quiet, works for one child or a pair sharing a build, and suits a table or the floor indoors. Rinse and dry before packing away. This is a small-parts toy, so it's for children 3 and over.
