Three voices, one hand

Put a puppet on each of three fingers and the play changes. One puppet gets talked to. Three get talked through. The child decides who is nervous, who is bossy and who has to solve the problem, and that is where pretend play grows from simple role-play into storytelling with dialogue.

What the fingers are learning
