The Bridge to Balance
Learning to ride requires mastering two distinct skills: steering and balancing. Most toddlers can't do both at once. The Tiny Tot Plus isolates these skills. In 'trike mode', the three-wheel base provides rock-solid stability, allowing your toddler to experiment with propulsion—learning how pushing their feet against the ground moves them forward. They build leg strength and steering confidence without the anxiety of falling.
When They Are Ready to Glide
When you notice them lifting their feet to coast or moving with speed, it's time to convert. By removing the third wheel and installing the single rear axle (included), you transform the vehicle into a classic balance bike. Because the handlebars and seat feel exactly the same, the transition is less intimidating than starting on a new bike. They can focus entirely on finding their centre of gravity.
The 'Plus' Difference
Unlike the original Tiny Tot, which is designed for 12-month-olds, the 'Plus' is scaled up for the 18-month to 4-year window. It features a larger frame and a seat that adjusts from 25cm to 34cm, accommodating taller toddlers and preschoolers who still need that initial stability. The extra-wide base and 25kg weight limit mean it remains sturdy even during enthusiastic play.
Built for Australian Homes
The tyres are made from biodegradable EVA—an airless, rubber-like material that acts as a shock absorber. Practically, this means they never need pumping up and they run silently on timber floors. While it's tough enough for the driveway or the local park, the wooden frame means it should always be stored indoors to protect the finish.
Dimensions: Measuring approximately 72cm (L) x 45cm (W) x 44cm (H), it's substantial enough for outdoor use but agile enough to navigate hallway corners.
