The Fit That Gets Used
The best helmet is the one a toddler will actually wear. That comes down to fit and comfort. The Adjustable Fit Dial System at the back lets you tighten the shell with one hand, then fine-tune it as hair length or beanies change. The padded chin strap keeps the strap off sensitive skin, so the helmet stays on without a daily negotiation.
Built for the Wobbly Years
Around 2 to 4 years, kids move from walking to gliding. Balance bikes, scooters and skates all bring the occasional tumble, and this is when a helmet matters most. The ABS outer shell spreads the force of a knock, while the EPS liner underneath absorbs it. Ventilation holes keep air moving through the shell, which makes a real difference during an Australian summer at the park.
One Helmet, Several Wheels
Because the same helmet suits balance bikes, scooters, skates and skateboards, you won't need a new one each time their interest shifts. At 2 they are pushing along on a balance bike. By 4 or 5 they are steering a scooter or testing a skateboard, and the same helmet goes with them as long as it still fits. The matte lavender finish is soft and understated, and it hides the scuffs that come with dropped helmets and bike-shed storage.
Sizing Notes
This helmet fits head circumferences of 46 to 52 cm. Measure around the head, starting from the middle of the forehead, before you order. A snug, level fit matters more than the age printed on the box.
