The first glide
There is a moment on every balance bike when the feet leave the ground and the wheels keep rolling. That is the skill this bike is built around. Children walk it along first, then push off in longer strides, then tuck their feet up onto the integrated footrest and coast. Each stage trains the balance reaction a pedal bike depends on, so the later switch to pedals is mostly about legs, not wobbles.
Built for real-world riding
The star-style wheels carry puncture-proof EVA tyres, so there are no tubes to patch and nothing to pump up before a ride. The lightweight metal frame weighs about 3.2 kg, which makes it easy for small hands to steer and easy for you to carry when they decide they have had enough halfway down the street. It handles paths, driveways and dry park grass. Pair it with a Kinderfeets helmet for every ride.
Sizing and growing room
The seat adjusts from 31 cm to 43 cm and the handlebars adjust from 55 to 62 cm in height. The wheels are 12 inches. That range covers the gap between a confident walker at around 18 months and a tall, fast five-year-old. For a good fit, your child should be able to sit with both feet flat on the ground and knees slightly bent. The bike supports riders up to 35 kg, and adult assembly is required.
As balance builds, children move from walking the bike to long strides, then to coasting with feet up, and finally to a pedal bike. This bike keeps fitting through that whole transition from toddler push toys to pedals.
