From Walking to Gliding
Most ride-ons are quickly outgrown, but the Trybike is engineered to span two distinct developmental phases. At 15 months, the tricycle mode offers a stable platform where the focus is on steering and leg coordination. The rear axle geometry is designed to be wide enough for stability but narrow enough that their feet don't clip the wheels—a common frustration with cheaper trikes.
The Difference is in the Tyres
Unlike the hard foam plastic wheels found on mass-market balance bikes, Trybike uses 12-inch spoked steel wheels with pneumatic (air-filled) tyres. This provides genuine shock absorption and traction on Australian terrain—whether it's the footpath, the local park grass, or a gravel driveway. The ride is smoother, quieter, and safer because the rubber actually grips the surface rather than skidding over it.
Engineered for Growth
A unique control disk on the rear axle allows you to adjust the wheelbase. In the early stages, you can lower the seat and lengthen the wheelbase for maximum stability. As they grow and switch to balance bike mode, you can shorten the wheelbase for sharper, more responsive handling. You can even customise it with a wicker basket for their treasures.
